El Cardenal es de mis restaurantes favoritos de comida mexicana... Lejos de varias opciones turísticas que hay en el centro este restaurante tiene una calidad y sabor incomparable.
Esta sucursal es una de las más recientes, se ubica a un lado del Museo Nacional de Arte, y de todas es mi favorita.
Dde lo que mas me gusta es su cocina de temporada... Hay temporada de cuitlacoche, de escamoles y en Agosto y Septiembre es turno de los Chiles en Nogada. Debo admitir que no soy gran fan de este platillo, pero de todos definitivamente este es el mejor, hay años que llamamos para "apartar" o confirmar que haya debido al éxito que tienen.
En esta ocasión comí la sopa de fideo con frijol, un casero con gran sabor. Pedimos además Chile en Nogada y un atún marinado a la parrilla... Fantástico! Y todo súper fresco!
El flan de plátano macho tienes que probarlo!
Los desayunos también son riquísimos, chocolate de molinillo, y hasta el pan dulce es bueno.
El servicio es muy bueno! Son rápidos y muy amables. Si puedes mejor llama a reservar ya que suele haber mucha gente.
Cerca tienes también la sucursal del centro, o la de Alameda.
El precio ronda unos 400$ por persona con postre, café y vino.
