The Whim of Gaudí

En Comillas hay una gran cantidad de edificios modernistas creados por los arquitectos catalanes más importantes de esta bonita época, pero si me tengo que quedar con uno, sin duda es con el Capricho de Gaudí. Esta pequeña residencia es una de las pocas obras del arquitecto de Reus fuera de Cataluña, y es muy diferente a otras por su marcado estilo oriental, recordando en ciertos aspectos al estilo persa, japonés e iraní. Terminado en 1885 (realmente hay algunos detalles sin terminar), esta casa fue encargada por el indiano Máximo Díaz de Quijano, que hizo fortuna como abogado, y era un gran amante de la música y de la botánica. Es muy importante este detalle de las aficiones del dueño, pues toda la casa gira en torno a estos conceptos, con persianas que producen música al subirlas y bajarlas, decoración con animales musicales, y un gran invernadero en el corazón del edificio. Todo esto y mucho más lo podemos ir descubriendo por nuestra cuenta, leyendo los carteles, o haciendo una de las visitas guiadas, que recomiendo encarecidamente, ya que al no tener muebles (no se conserva ninguno original), hace falta que alguien nos explique que tienen de especial las habitaciones. Una vez terminada la visita guiada, siempre podemos recorrer la casa a nuestro aire, así como el florido jardín, en el que encontraremos a Gaudí admirando su pequeño capricho cántabro. Horario: 10:30 a 21:00 en verano. Hasta las 17:30 en invierno. Las visitas guiadas son a las horas en punto. Tarifa: adultos 5€, reducida 2,5€.

Una de las cosas que me llama mucho la atención son los bancos que se encuentran en l. Otra cualidad es que este edificio se distribuyó de acuerdo con la trayectoria del sol, como los girasoles. Sur la route de Saint Jacques de Compostelle, en passant par la région de la Cantabrie, nous avons eu la chance de nous arrêter dans la ville de Comillas. Une bien charmante bourgade, qui ne manque pas de patrimoine culturel ! Parmi ses sites les plus connus, la maison pensée et construite par le célèbre Gaudi, nommée El Capricho. Nous arrivons dès l’ouverture et des gens attendent déjà… Cette villa colorée est construite toute en céramique avec des lignes propres au style de Gaudi, tortueuses et farfelues ! J’avais déjà visité la maison Batlo ainsiq que le parc Guell à Barcelone et j’ai été très impressionnée par cette construction de Gaudi. En découvrant El Capricho, j’ai vraiment eu l’impression de pénétrer dans un monde fantastique, comme une maison faite de bonbons et de sucreries, la villa est prodigieuse par sa complexité architecturale, mais également par ce qu’elle dégage, comme un petit air d’enfance et de magie… L’intérieur est moins étonnant, même si l’on peut dévorer une exposition, et des plans de construction de la maison, qui parleront certainement aux experts. Dans tous les cas, cela vaut la peine de prendre le temps de visiter cet extraordinaire construction !

Gaudí distribuyó las habitaciones del Capricho en base a las actividades del día a día, haciendo que, a su vez, siguieran la trayectoria del sol (por ello el símbolo principal de este edificio son los girasoles). Máximo Díaz de Quijano fue quien encargó a Gaudí la construcción del Capricho, y como éste era amante de la música, Antonio Gaudí colmó de detalles musicales el edificio, por ejemplo en las vidrieras del baño podemos ver como un gorrión toca el piano y una abeja la guitarra. Una de las terrazas da a un patio exterior, está situada justo encima de dónde antes se ubicaban las cocheras, y por eso hay una herradura dibujada, para indicar el uso que tenía antes. Por último recomiendo dar una vuelta alrededor del edificio para ver los jardines, los huecos en los muros de piedra y, por supuesto, la estatúa del gran Antonio Gaudí.

Si pasáis por Comillas (o cerca) vale la pena pararse y pasarse por este pueblo. A mí, me enamoró. Sí que es cierto que supe de este lugar gracias a la película española "Primos" y cuando pasamos mi pareja y yo cerca dije que quería visitar el pueblo y... No me defraudó. Uno de los puntos fuertes de la visita fue en el llamado "Capricho de Gaudí", que no defrauda en absoluto. Puedes ir por la mañana por tu cuenta o acercarte a la tarde, con visita guiada. Nosotros fuimos por la mañana, siguiendo las indicaciones del panfleto que te dan a la entrada y... Es alucinante. Te explican cómo está diseñada la casa y por qué está así, además de las vistas y la belleza que ésta posee. Si queréis pasar un rato agradable tanto en pareja, en amigos o en familia, no dudéis visitarlo. Además hay unos rincones donde hacerse fotos muy originales. Este Gaudí no defrauda jamás con sus obras.

Tout ici est détail des céramiques aux balcons en fer forgé aux formes de banquettes ! Vous admirerez les toits , les intérieurs , les meubles tous l'œuvre du maître ! Magnifique !!! El Capricho es una de las tantas obras de Gaudí, y la única que podemos ver en Comillas. Hace años su entrada era abierta al público pero ha comprado el recinto un particular por lo que hay que pagar una entrada de 5€. NO admiten tarifas reducidas de ningún tipo. En mi opinión lo más espectacular es su exterior, lleno de colorido. Además sino nos queremos gastar esos 5€ de entrada podemos ver la esencia del Capricho desde fuera, por el camino que lleva al Palacio de Sobrellano. El edificio está rodeado de un jardín precioso, una cuevecita y una estatua de Gaudi mirando su gran obra. Para mi, lo curioso es que la ubicación de cada habitación tiene su razón de ser. Están orientadas según la trayectoria del sol y la actividad que se realiza en esa habitación. Por ejemplo, al dormitorio le da el sol a primera hora de la mañana, al levantarte; al comedor al mediodía; a la sala de juegos por la tarde; etc. ES GENIAL!! Que crack!

El capricho de gaudi, fue una casa que construyo antonio gaudi, para el concuñado del marques de comillas, lo que mas destaca de esta obra son los girasoles que rodean el edificio multicolor. Por oídas, conozco que antes de abrirse al publico cobrando nada mas y nada menos que 5 €...se utilizo como restaurante chino, y después de eso, la entrada era gratuita... Dicen que lo mas impresiona de esta casa, es que esta orientada al sol, y sus habitaciones también, o lo que es lo mismo, que al dormitorio le da el sol, al despertar, al salón comedor al medio día, y a la sala de estar a la tarde....

Se trata de una de las pocas obras arquitectónicas de Gaudí que el arquitecto construyó fuera de Barcelona. Esta casa construida por encargo de uno de los hombres más ricos de Comillas se erigió en el enclave conocido como pequeña Barcelona. La entrada vale 5 € con visita guiada incluida. En mi caso no soy un gran admirador del estilo, pero merece mucho la pena visitar la casa y sobre todo la visita guiada. Actualmente los derechos de explotación están en manos de una empresa japonesa, tras no querer hacerse cargo ni el gobierno español ni la Generalitat de Cataluña. Así es España señores...
