El Balcón del Mediterráneo

The Balcony of the Mediterranean is a 23-meter cliff at the far end of the Rambla Nova of Tarragona and is lined by an iron railing.

It is a very dear place to citizens of Tarragona, who converge there to "tocar ferro" (literally, touch the iron).

The rail has a distinctive shape and is said to bring luck to anyone who touches it. From there, you can enjoy a magnificent view of Miracle beach and the Mediterranean Sea.

It is almost the first thing you see when you get to the center of Tarragona. At the end of the boardwalk, you can find this veranda with beautiful views of the Mediterranean and some otromonumento. From here you can see the different boats and cargo ships that come and go. It is surrounded by an old wrought iron railing by Joan Miquel Guinart. I recommend taking the time to visit this place and enjoy the views it has to offer.
