Great airport

If there is one airport that I know by heart, it's the Alicante-Elche airport. Since I live in this part of Costa Blanca, almost all of my travels start in these terminals.

The Airport is located 9km. southwest of Alicante although it is actually in the municipality of Elche.

All you need to do is set food in the airport to realize that Alicante is a popular tourist destination, especially for Europeans.

In 2009, Alicante Airport recorded passenger traffic of 9,139,607, most of which came from low-cost carriers operating out of Europe.

Modern airport

Alicante's airport opened a few years ago. This was a very positive development for the community since locals and guests can now enjoy all the comforts of a modern airport.

There are several transportation options: there are buses run by Alsa that go to Benidorm (9€) or Alicante city buses that cost €2.60.

This airport is ideal for flights to UK, Ireland, and continental Europe. For example, it's one of the few airports with year-round flights to Iceland.

Particularmente para mi es un señor Aeropuerto, completísimo... En el que momento en que entras, te das cuenta el transito que hay de gente en el, sea la hora que sea, de cualquier día.. Tiendas, restaurantes, cafeterías, zonas de ocio, o relax... Miles de vuelos salen al día desde aquí, en el 2012 el aeropuerto recibió 8.855.441 pasajeros... Para mi de los favoritos!!!!

Particularly for me is a gentleman Airport, very complete ... In that moment you enter, you realize that there are transit of people in the, whatever time it is, any day .. Shops, restaurants, cafes, entertainment, or relax ... Thousands of flights depart daily from here, in 2012, the airport handled 8,855,441 passengers ... For me a favorite!!
