A wave-shaped skyscraper
Copan Building, located on Avenida Ipirangaone, Sao Paulo, is one of the most important buildings in the city. Oscar Niemeyer designed it in 1954, with a sinuous shape like a wave, which means it stands out among the various city skyscrapers. The building has won Guinness world record due to its large number of departments built in such a little area. It is 140 m high, and it's 1160 departments are divided into six blocks. The building is equipped to allow tourist entry, and from the top floor, there is a wonderful view of the city.
