If hotels are just for sleeping as far as you're concerned, then this is the hotel for you: a comfy bed and tiny rooms, but more than sufficient for the time that you spend here. Staff are polite. It is semi-self-catering; you'll pay € 5 a day for cleaning, and changing the sheets costs extra, just like the wifi or the TV. The hotel is in a remote but central area, 25 minutes walk from Dam Square and close to the tramlines. Cheap compared to most Amsterdam hotels.
