3 reviews of Dunn's River Beach

Surrounded by lush tropical vegetation

The Dunn's River Beach is located at the foot of Dunn's River Falls. It is a spectacular setting, not only due to the turquoise blue water and fine white sand, but because of where it's located. This beach is at the mouth of Dunn's River Falls as it drains into sea, and it's completely surrounded by lush tropical vegetation (it's part of a National Park). From here, the view of the falls is spectacular and it's also the starting point to climb to Las Frills. At this beach, you can go for a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear water, rent a jet ski, or go for a spin on a catamaran or a glass-bottom boat to seeing right into the water.

You have bathrooms and lockers, but no other amenities such as chairs or bars. Access is via wooden walkways and stairs from the entrance to the Dunn's River National Park (2 miles from Ocho Rios). You can also reach it by sea on a catamaran. There's an entrance fee of $15.

One of the moat beautiful places I’ve seen in Jamaica.

Excellent

Even though you can get here only by entering Dunn’s River falls and paying entry fee $25, it’s worth it. Clean and very very pretty.
