Dunhinda Falls

Dunhinda Falls are situated 10 miles away from Badulla. You can get there from the bus station, where there is a vehicle that runs every half hour or so, and costs 10Rs. From there you have to walk down to the falls. The best time to go is between April and August, when there is water. The falls are over 60m high, and its name means condensation droplets. Born Badulu Oya River passing through the town of Badulla. When you go down the road, it is not very difficult but it is a bit long. They say it is 1km in the guide, but I think it was more. Along the way there are a lot of sellers with plastic souvenirs, pictures with babies and kittens, things that seem romantic to visiting local couples.
