Ducal Palace

You can't miss seeing the Piazza del Comune in Sassari. It's situated behind the cathedral and it houses the Palazzo Ducale, which was built between 1775 and 1805 by artists from Lombardi. The palace of the Duke of Asinara currently houses the town hall inside of it. Spectacular are the stairways and halls inside the palace. Close by are Santa Caterina, built in the XVI by the Jesuits, in the Renaissance style, and the school that houses the gallery, with more than 400 works inside.
