Drum Castle

This castle, in the county of Aberdeen has one of the oldest towers in Scotland, Its original structure was done in the 13th century, when the King of Scotland, Robert I 'The Brus 'donated this land to the noble William of Irwyn, chief of Clan Irvine. This family lived in the castle until the year 1975. The most original part is the old square tower and chapel that were added in later times, and the mansion (Jacobite era) and Victorian areas, when the gardens were redone. The conservation of this castle is amazing, once inside you can find furniture and things from the foundation of the castle.
