Dragon dance
Waiting for hours in an airport is usually tedious, but in Changi Airport in Singapore, you'll find plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars to pass the time. We were travelling during Chinese New Year an they even held a dragon dance inside the airport! The dance is an essential part of the Chinese New Year celebrations and the dragon (a mixture of lion, fish and fowl) chases a pearl representing wisdom. The dance begins slowly, but picks up speed as it continues. There are many legends associated with the origins of the dance, and it is said that it will bring a good harvests in the year ahead.
