The prison gate
Leon has been a walled city since ancient times, though today only the Castle Gate remains of the four gates that once stood: the other three have been destroyed, the most recent (Puerta Obispo) in 1910. It is sometimes known as "El Arco de la Carcel" (the prison gate), as
It supported the wall of the old Leon jail.
