Gorgonita
Dom Antonio Restaurant
Hard to believe that in a restaurant that has won the Medal for Merit in Tourism and International Tourism Award, you can eat as bad and be offered a service so lousy. We walked casually into the restaurant Dom António, it is situated in the main shopping street Antonio Barroso, but we did not like anything. -For one, the food we were served was bad: We ordered the "vellum" (beef) stew, and was very dry and hard. White rice that accompanied seemed to have been cooked a week ago and was all pasty and sticky. -And on the other hand, the service and care received were terrible. Although they had only one room full (and it was small, about 6 tables), it took about 20 minutes to ask us what we wanted to order.
And then it took an hour and a half to serve the food, while we watched other guests come and leave. It´s a place I won´t return to.
