Dolac Square

La piazza di Dolac è fra le più suggestive della Zagabria antica. Di giorno è intasata dalle bancarelle del [poi=184011]mercato[/poi], che la lasciano, nel pomeriggio e la sera, completamente spoglia (tranne che per i banconi della merce chiusi e pronti per essere usati il giorno dopo). Per questo motivo, vale la pena fare un salto qui non soltanto nelle ore di mercato, in modo da potersi gustare anche l'altra faccia di questo spazio aperto così amato dai zagabresi. Illuminata dalle luci della sera, diventa uno dei luoghi preferiti dai bambini per correre e giocare. Uno spazio silenzioso e tranquillo, in pieno contrasto con la brulicante [poi=183941]ulica Ivana Tkalcica[/poi], che passa proprio al termine della scalinata che scende da Dolac.

The square of Dolac is among the most evocative of old Zagreb.
