The Dogpatch Saloon is a secret known only to jazz fans. Tucked away in a neighborhood where, until recently, not much was happening, it is a den of jazz enthusiasts. With a bar and booths that date back decades to the opening of the bar, the place offers Sunday afternoon jazz concerts by great musicians and sometimes offers open mic nights for singers in the audience. Concerts start at 4:30pm, and admission is $5. Enjoy the music with a drink, and a little present from the owner (usually chili con carne, served after the first musicians).
