Diving with sharks

In 2006 I fulfilled one of my dreams, diving with whale sharks. I had tried in Australia but it was cancelled due to bad weather. When I visited the Philippines I went to Donsol, where there was a very interesting project developing to increase interaction between local people, tourists and whale sharks.
You go with local people in small wooden boats, and when you see a shark, they take you closer and you jump out of the boat with your flippers and diving goggles near the shark. Despite being vegetarian it's pretty impressive in size, up to 20 meters, and has an enormous mouth, up to 2 meters

Este passeio é simplesmente maravilhoso. Sensação inexplicável, só vivenciando. Tivemos o prazer em fevereiro de 2015 de conhecer Oslob. Então fomos fazer o tão famoso passeio de mergulhar com os tubarões baleia. Há quem critique este tipo de exploração animal, mas para falar a verdade poderia até ser pior. Os tubarões estão livres e sabem que entre as seis da manhã ao meio dia terão comida fácil. A preocupação dos biólogos é que esses animais já se habituam com a comida fácil então não vão à caça. Depois desta experiência fomos tomar um banho de cachoeira na famosa Tumalog, linda.

This just wonderful ride. Inexplicable feeling, s experiencing. We were pleased in February 2015 to meet Oslob. Then we went to the famous ride to dive with sharks whale. H who criticize this kind of animal exploitation, but to be honest could even be worse. The sharks esto free and know that between six in the morning at noon tero easy food. The concern of biologists that these animals already become accustomed to the easy food then in vo hunting. After this experience we take a waterfall bath in the famous Tumalog, beautiful.
