Corveta Ipiranga Shipwreck

The Ipiranga performed patrols around the northeast coast of the country. One morning with calm seas, the ship approached Fernando de Noronha, where it was to perform tasks to support the island's garrison. But it collided with the Sapata rock, which is more than 70m deep, and during low tide just 2m from the surface.
