Discovery Divers
When I talked about the possibility of diving in Japanese ships sunk during World War II the truth is that the idea excited me, as I had said that there was good visibility and suffer some claustrophobia, Having done 20 dives different boats, I can say it has been the most memorable snorkeling experience of my life, and it is about the fact that he dived with the person with the most experience in the area, as Gunter, owner of Discovery Divers has 20 years diving in the area and has thousands of dives. Diving with him in ships over 150 meters long, penetrating inside and visiting their cellars, kitchens, the bridge and other areas is an unforgettable experience.
Names like KYOGU MARU, OLYMPIA MARU, Akitsushima and Irako will always be in my memory as a great adventure. The dive center is also in a spectacular resort, Puerto del Sol, which adds to the wonderful underwater amazing views over the bay. I even went for a swim in a lake that is a mix of both freshwater and saltwater. The lake has a thermocline which causes about 10 meters deep water changes to almost 40 degrees, like being in a spa, 20 meters and the water returns to fresh tea color, all in a cavernous landscape with limestone columns. I recommend going to this place if you are interested in diving. It has a rich history and is very beautiful.
