Dioulassoba neighbourhood
Dioulassoba. This particular neighbourhood is crammed into the steep banks of the river that runs through Bobo-Dioulasso. The centuries glide along adobe walls and strange stairs made of logs that are typical of Bobo houses. Formerly this part of town was known as Sya and today is home to thousands of people. In little corners of the neighbourhood you can find several "fetiche" places with chicken feathers scattered around or blacksmiths hard at work.
