Hotel Diego de Mazariegos

We ended up at this lovely, colonial hotel during one of the stops on our Mexican tour. Ocher colors, stonework, antique furniture and wood carvings enhance the special style of the hotel. Its beautiful courtyards are 18th century colonial architecture, unique in the city and perfectly preserved. Located in the San Cristobal de las Casas' historic area, behind the Cathedral and close to the main square, the hotel has its rooms around the courtyard on two levels and is a perfect place for exploring the city.
