Spectacular Volkswagen Phaeton factory
"The transparent factory" of Volkswagen is where the Phaeton is manufactured. The idea was to create a luxurious class of VW using the latest techniques in the automobile industry, whilst honoring the values of a company with a long tradition. Thus, Dresden was chosen as its location as it is known for its innovative spirit. The transparency of the building shows the different steps in the assembly of this luxurious car - where innovative technology meets the cultural vitality.
