Swimming Area

Just a bit above the Dhuandar Falls, there is a swimming area where you can take a refreshing swim. During the summer seasons it gets really hot and the local government has expanded the river bed. They have tweaked the area a bit so that everyone can swim . Sure, you cannot expect sandy areas, ice cream stands or parking for the car, this considered a very wild area. The improvements made to this area have succeeded in making the river bend at least comfortable to bathe in and to get wet.

Getting here takes around 5 min. Going up the river from the falls, which come from Lake of the Marble Rocks, you will be about two hours by bus from Jabalpur.
