A peaceful, quiet park in Los Angeles
Tucked up in the Foothills of Los Angeles, Deukmejian Wilderness Park offers a type of quiet that is uncommon throughout the Southern California county. It’s really a great place for those seeking a space that is not chaotic. Aside from the cars that drive into the Deukmejian and the few people that go there (it’s hardly ever crowded), noise is virtually nonexistent. There are several tables immediately accessible from the (free) parking lot, and well-maintained and clean grass that’s perfect for a picnic or just to lie down on.
