Desayunos de Cabo de la Vela

Like the rest of Guajira, Cabo de la Vela is very poor: Here you eat what the sea gives, the little that comes from Uribia and what the land gives -negligible. Forget leaving your hammock in the morning and have coffee and toast. Here, as normal is a salpicon of fish breakfast (in my case I had always have ray) with arepas. It's strange, but eventually you get used to and it seems a delicacy.
