Rocky Mountain wildlife
Founded in 1900, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science actually traces its origins back to a man hiding in a cabin in the mountains. In 1868, the pioneer and naturalist Edwin Carter came to Breckenridge, Colorado and devoted himself to his true passion, the study of the wildlife of the Rocky Mountains.
