Democracy Coffee Shop is well suited to its name. The majority rules, the popular opinion matters. Democracy is a cafe that will please many tastes and demographics in society. Located on trendy Locke Street in Hamilton, the coffee shop has lengthy hours of operation, from early in the morning until late at night. The coffee shop is adorned with giant chalkboard walls and tables, allowing kids and people of all ages to add their own art to the shop. I've never seen a more diverse crowd in a coffee shop before: families, couples, groups of friends, and retirees. Unlike most shops, the cafe does not offer wifi.
