Deception Island
On Deception Island (Antarctica), there is a penguin and about 9,000 individual couples. To get there, the section to be followed is pretty steep and the snow sometimes makes it impractical. The day we went we were lucky and the sun accompanied us, making the temperature less harsh than usual. Once there we were amazed at the behavior of these animals, since they weren't affected by our presence. Also the males emit a shrill sound that females, who came to feed, could identify them from hundreds.
