De Vergulde Lantaarn

After walking a bit through the center of Amsterdam on one of the streets with shops from the best known brands in the world, we were looking for a restaurant and we found one: Restaurant De Vergulde Lantaarn. It offered a cheap menu and it looked comfortable inside, with a lot of families there too. The tables were a bit close together, but once we were served, we were given enough food dishes and had a quiet meal. The dishes were tasty and the waiters made an effort to get along with us as we didn´t get on with English too well. We liked the Christmas decorations that were in the restaurant despite being the end of the season.
