Rajasthan Foundation Day

The Rajasthan Day celebration is especially poular in Jaipur, being the capital of the state. A parade occurs, with everybody dresseed in Indian traditional costumes and they have regional dances, bands, floats, rows of elephants and acrobatic motorcycle stunts. It is important to go early to get a seat as it gets crammed. The party starts in the afternoon and the evening concludes with a spectacular firework display.
