David Moreno Winery

Going on a touristic route to the "Bodegas de La Rioja" (Wine cellars of La Rioja) is great. One can have a taste of everything: 100 years old vineyards in Haro or personal stories fascinating the visitor. Such is the case of the Bodegas David Moreno.

David Moreno emigrated from Barcelona to La Rioja and used to work in the Seat factory, but his real passion was wine. As soon as he could, he went back to La Rioja and bought some vineyards. He started to use his own knowledge of engineering to create his own tools (for example a corkscrew they religiously keep there, built with pieces stolen from the construction company).
