A Local Favorite
The Captain Daniel Packer Inne, known as DPI by locals, is one of my favorite bars and restaurants in downtown Mystic, Connecticut. DPI is over 250 years old and was built by Captain Daniel Packer. DPI is now a local favorite restaurant that has two sections: the downstairs pub and the upstairs restaurant, with the restaurant being fancier and having a different menu than the pub. The pub menu is incredibly delicious, so be sure to come hungry and arrive early, as the cozy space fills up quickly.
