The Culture House of Enguera is built on a former Carmelite convent, which was confiscated in 1836, and has been used for such diverse applications as housing, schools, garages, Civil Guard barracks, prison and a court. It is currently the axis of the cultural life of the population as it houses the Public Library, the Municipal Archives, the Museum of Antique Photography, the Ethnological Museum, Industrial Museum, Museum of Agricultural Activities, and conference rooms.
