8 reviews of Cua Dai Beach

Nearly empty beach!

Cua Dai is the most touristy beach in Hội An and it’s located about 7km from downtown. The other beaches are 5, 13, and 27km. away. It's possible that you'll be overwhelmed by the enchanting town of Hội An and want to explore every inch, but I'd suggest renting a bike and taking a trip to the beach at least once while you’re there. It's beautiful and virtually empty! The sand is soft and the water warm. Wonderful! There are several restaurants along the beach but you'll find a better price if you go one or two streets inland.

Don’t miss the sunset

Cua Dai beach is about 5km from Hội An is easy to bike to. There are resorts and hotels along the beach, but it's a large beach and you'll have plenty of space for playing in the sand or sunbathing. During the day, it's full of tourists and vendors selling souvenirs and drinks. A more interesting choice would be to visit at sunset to see the hundred of Vietnamese that flock to the beach to swim, plat, and eat. After dark, they lay out mats and have intimate dinners in small groups.
