This is a view that very few tourists know. From this cross in Serra Gelada, you have amazing panoramic views of all of Benidorm. On the way up, you pass by many chalets including a famous pink one that has been featured in several Spanish movies.
Truth be told, it’s not easy to reach; but, you can ask some of the shop or bar owners in the area around Rincón de Loix and they can show you how to get there.
Really great! I'm not especially religious but we were doing a 5-hour hike from Alfas del Pi across the mountains. We were dead tired and hadn't brought enough water but when we finally saw that cross...of, what a feeling of relief!
In the upper part of Rincón de Loix, you find this fabulous hidden corner of Benidorm from which you can see the entire city and its beaches. It’s especially pretty at night and during the sunset.
It’s not easy to find; you first need to go to Rincón de Loix. Once you arrive, ask someone from the area for the road that leads to the cross. It’s worth the effort any time you go, but it’s especially stunning in the evening when the temperatures drop and the sun begins to set.
You can go up in a car, but you need to walk for about 2min. from the road up a little path to get to the actual cross. I hope you like it!
