Great historic and tourist interest
Village of almost 700 inhabitants belonging to the county of Matarraña, situated at an altitude of 564 metres and possessing different buildings of great artistic and historic interest.
In the XVII century one of the ancient gates of the walls was dedicated to San Roque, built to protect against the Black Death suffered by the population, and there is a small chapel in use since that time. In the XVIII century, to another gate of the walls, the function of a chapel was added, that of San Antonio de Padua.
The Turull House, of 1746, is a manor house which was commissioned by this famous family dedicated to the making of church organs. The church of La Asunción, built of dressed stone with a single nave with lateral chapels, was erected in the XVI century on the site of ancient gates, destroying the outline of the ancient walls.
