Crater Lake

Situé au coeur du parc national de Cradle Moutain - St Clair Lake, sur l'île de Tasmanie située au sud de l'Australie, le lac du cratère est un point de passage obligé si vous décidez d'emprunter le sentier qui vous emmène jusqu'au point appelé "le belvédère" et à partir duquel vous aurez une vue plongeante sur le lac Dove. Formé lors du retrait des glaciers qui entouraient Cradle Moutain, vous remarquerez des signes d'occupation autour du lac du Cratère qui n'a donc rien à voir avec un volcan !

Located in the heart of the National Park Cradle Mountain - Lake St Clair, on the island of Tasmania, south of Australia, Crater Lake is a choke point if you decide to take the path that takes you up at the point called "lookout" and from which you have a view on Dove Lake. Formed during the retreat of the glaciers surrounding Cradle Mountain, you will notice signs of occupation around the Crater Lake which therefore has nothing to do with a volcano!
