Covarrubias is a town in Burgos, Spain. It invites you to meet and explore the past with its medieval image of adobe houses, wooden tracery, treasured collegiate beauty and history, and a tower that still dominates with her strength.
We arrived at this beautiful town in Burgos when the town was celebrating the Cherry Market and the Medieval Market. There was also a theatre performance in which many of the people involved were wearing costumes. We went with kids and they enjoyed it. The decorated streets and half-timbered houses and flowers impart an atmosphere of the splendid past.
