Quirky Cinema
Next to several vintage movie theaters of the 30s, in the central district of downtown, Cosmos cinema stands out because of its modernity. It's a great new building with air-conditioned rooms, which shows most of the films in English with Arabic subtitles. There are films from 10 am to midnight, sessions until 6pm cost a euro and after 6 you pay two euros. As boys and girls do not mix much, the film is a private and intimate space where they get a little privacy. 5 men and 5 women show up separately, and once the film begins, you see everyone shuffling about, it's a little like going to the cinema in the 50s in Europe, when you went just so that you could see your boyfriend ...
It is one of the largest screens in the neighbourhood but you should go to the modern areas if you are looking for huge screens.
