Generally, the courts can be found in buildings with a real historical character. Often, they have been built in old mansions or even palaces. This is the case in Dumfries, where the restored building is over 400 years old, and quickly catches your eye, as it could be a local palace or the home of a bishop ... but in fact it's the court.
