Corso Verdi

Al termine di Corso Italia, proseguendo verso il centro storico, la strada cambia nome, perde i controviali pedonali e diventa completamente pedonalizzata: è Corso Verdi, una delle strade più frequentate ed amate dai goriziani e non solo. Qui si viene a fare shopping, a bere un drink, ma anche solo a passeggiare avanti e indietro il sabato pomeriggio per vedere chi c'è. Il corso termina con un ampio e verde giardino, dove si può fare una sosta sotto i platani e con il mercato coperto, appuntamento fisso dell'anima popolare della città.

At the end of Corso Italy, continuing towards the old town, the street name changes, it loses controviali pedestrian and becomes pedestrianized: it's Corso Verdi, one of the most popular and loved by the Gorizians and beyond. People come here to shop, have a drink, but also just to walk back and forth on a Saturday afternoon to see who's there. The course ends with a large green garden, where you can make a stop under the plane trees and the covered market, popular fixture of the soul of the city.
