One of my favorite places
Punta Corrente is one of my favorite places in all of Rovinj. It is a perfect spot to go diving, take a nice bike ride and admire the sunset. You can see the gorgeous Mediterranean landscape and I've always admired the pristine water which is a little cold, and the smell of pine forest. A part of this particular area that I like to go to is Montauro, Scarabba, Cuvi etc. And you can get to all of them by bike. All of Rovinj in general is very natural, very quiet although sometimes there are small concerts on the square or Monviel, which is a place of recreation that is pretty good but now its placed a little further away.
Rovinj is also a village with Venetian features, since it belonged to Venice for some time, and the bell tower of Santa Eugenia's is a fantastic place to visit. My family is from there, so I feel very at home in that environment and feel like I identify with the place.
