An affordable place
This is an affordable place for the area. We were traveling on a budget, so we looked for the cheapest options and found this: prices range from a minimum of 60 € per night in low season for a small apartment to € 120 in high season for a big one. In high season, the minimum stay is four nights, something that we could do because we were still living the student lifestyle. Nowadays, that would be unthinkable! They gave us a special deal, so we paid 200 € between two for 4 nights and 5 days. That was a basic deal with no breakfast, just accommodation.
If you want to go for a week, they'll usually give you one night for free, and if you spend more than fourteen days there, they offer a discounted rate.
It is an apartment complex divided into three parts, known as Coral do Mar I, II and III. When we made the reservation, we were sent to the largest, Coral do Mar II. So my comments are only about that part of the complex. There are a total of sixteen apartments spread over three floors, for either 2-4 or 4-6 people. In the smaller apartments, you have a double room, a living room with a sofa bed, and a bathroom. The larger apartments have two bedrooms, a living room with a sofa bed, and a bathroom. There's a nice pool area outside where you can relax with the kids, as well as gardens, a playground and private, covered parking. Best of all, it's right next to the beach and the sea. When we went in 1999, it was still relatively new.
