Copland Track
The Copland Track is a historic road, located in the World Heritage area of New Zealand's South Island, which runs parallel to the Copland river. It has turquoise hues because it is nourished by the melting glaciers. There are several days of hiking, with very basic cabins for 2 to 30 people, without electricity, and just sleeping mats. It is a very nice place although the walk is very tough, as there are continuous ups and downs, and there are areas of collapsing stones as well as unsuitable bridges for people with vertigo. The first day of walking is 7 hours, so it is a nice welcome.
