good place to eat a sandwich
The Confraria das Bifanas is a new restaurant specializing in bifanas which is next to the port of Faro, in the rotunda of the Republic Ave. Bifanas are typical Portuguese sandwiches with a slice breaded pork. They offer different menus with different bifanas, chicken or cheese, starting from € 3.50 and special offers where a you can get bifana and a small beer for 2.50 €. Besides the sandwiches, which are very very tasty, you can also choose between different sweets (cakes, baba de camelo/pudding, muffins) and even soup. All products are made by them. A good place to eat a sandwich quickly and at a very cheap price.
I visited the bar shortly after it opened, so it I may have been the first Spanish person to buy something here, and the truth is that I was convinced.
