A natural swimming pool

Comino is an island on the Matlese archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea. It's between the islands of Malta and Gozo and is only 3.5 square kilometers. We spent a few weeks in Malta so we decided to head to Comino (and the afternoon in the Azure Window of Gozo, a place I also shared on minube). The first thing I though when I arrived at the Blue Lagoon was "wow, it's like a giant swimming pool," with the crystalline water and people with their inner tubes. We took along some snorkels to explore the depths.

We went to the other side and found and underwater cave which you can see in the photo. At first, it was a bit dark and scary but it's the purest you can find in the Mediterranean. It was like being in a swimming pool!

Lovely little island

Comino is a lovely little island halfway between the islands of Malta and Gozo. There's nowehere to stay over, and to eat only a truck with ice cream, burgers and refreshments. You can see everything in one day. Walks in the countryside , impressive cliffs, dream-like coves ... Everything an untapped small island can offer. Pure nature.
