Collegiale Saint-Salvi

La collégiale Saint-Salvi à Albi se trouve tout près de la place de la cathédrale Sainte-Cécile. Néanmoins, elle se dressait fièrement bien avant cette dernière au cœur du centre historique de la ville. En effet, elle fut construite au 12e siècle et classée aux monuments historiques en 1846. "Saint-Salvi" provient du nom de celui qui occupa le 1er siège épiscopal de la ville (entre 474 et 584), elle témoigne ainsi de nombreuses transformations. The Saint-Salvi Albi is located near Place de la Sainte-Cécile Cathedral. Nevertheless, she stood proudly before the latter in the historic center of the city.
