François Desnoyer Collection Museum

After the beach, this is an unavoidable excursion while in Saint Cyprien, in Roussillon. While there, I fancied a cultural break. I was lucky, there's a museum with outstanding collections of rare quality. I visited the exhibition "Lift the Veil". Each room belonged to a continent. The ground floor was Africa, the 1st and 2nd were Asia and South America. The exhibition brought together more than 160 works. I was amazed by the preservation quality, all of them were beautiful. The netsuke especially caught my attention. There were tiny statues carried by the Japanese on the rope of their kimonos.

The sculptures were remarkable and thorough. The museum is run by an enthusiastic team who enjoy explaining the history held within the museum.
