Coll Formic Creu

The starting point of this route is the Coll Formic (1,144 meters), which is located at kilometer 26.4 of the B-5301 Santa Maria Seva Palautordera route. The Coll Formic (Collformic Cross) is at the beginning of the road up to Metagalls. After the first steps you'll come to a monument, more specifically a memorial sculpture to the fallen from the 10th and 11th of January, 1874 during the Third Carlist War. More than 60 men were captured near here and immediately shot. They were buried in the Coll Formic ice well. The monument opened on June 22, 193.
