Biarritz Coastal Walk

We decided to go for a walk along the coast by night, so we could enjoy the city lights. Our journey started at the large beach of Biarritz, where you can see the extraordinary building of the Hotel du Palais (wonderful by day, but even more beautiful by night, when it's lit up), then continued along the fishing harbour (where there are many bars and restaurants with terraces), a truly fantastic place. We climbed next to the fishing village, as the road led to the museum of the sea (which can be visited at night!) and the Rocher de la Vierge. It takes about 45 minutes (probably a bit longer, as you're sure to want to take your time and admire the scenery).
