Cloister of the Santander Cathedral

The Cloister of the Santander Cathedral is located within the cathedral itself. The courtyard used to be full of orange trees but there are currently only a few trees and a well left standing. Throughout the cloister, you can see tombs of knights and abbots from Santander. Personally, my favorite parts were the decorative capitals and the vaulted ceilings surrounding the cloister. It’s really worth checking out.

You can only visit the cloister when they aren't holding Mass.
